I cant help but feel dissappointed in the prize of the Peugeot RCZ in Ireland. I was seriously considering buying this car and had been in contact with Peugeot dealers. Everyone thought it would come in under 35 if it was to compete with the Audi TT.

    RRSP Prices
    RCZ Sport 2.0 HDi 163bhp: €36,495
    RCZ Sport 1.6 petrol 200bhp: €41,495
    Plus delievery related charges!

When you think you could buy the car for £20,450 in the UK and in places like Italy and France for just over 27,000 euros I just feel deflated and angry over rip-off Ireland! After living abroad we pay through the nose for everything! Peugeot could have done so well with this car but why buy this car when you can have an Audi TT for round the same thats been a proven car!

Are there any bigger petrol engines in it?

What are the figures like if you were to take one in from UK or anywhere else? VRT should be tiny on that diesel anyway

Just know they're £20,450 in the UK. What I posted was what I get today in an email from Peugeot so think its just those two engine sizes!

Thats about 17500 sterling less uk vat
    =€21,875 converted to euro @ 80p/€
    Add irish VAT = €26,500
VRT 16% of omsp = approx €5700 for the diesel

    Total: 32,200 I think.

Add time and costs & the irish price from peugeot is not massively over done
