free recording at new studio (Base Recordings)

hi guys,

hope this is alright to post in here as its a great opportunity for an up and coming band.

Base Recordings is new studio in dublin south west that im involved with and we're giving away a 4 day session to the right band to kick start our business.

basically we need an unsigned band of high quality. the session will run from tuesday 10th august until the friday so 3 good songs would be the objective.

songs will be recorded and mixed to the highest standard by engineers with a lot of experience in the industry. ill let anyone know who ive worked with by PM if asked.

style of music is not important but preferance will be given to the more commercial end of indie/pop/rock as this is an advertisement for our services. so as much as i like a bit of death metal its not really an option for this session!! also while we have a nice selction of gear we would expect the band to have their own quality backline, or willing to rent (we can organise for a good price if needed).

anyway, you (the artist) will retain all rights to the recordings with the stipulation the we can use them to promote the business within reason (we wont make them available for public download but may use them to stream from our website.. which is more promotion for you!)

also we would expect you to print a small run of cds to distribute (whether you do this for free or charge for them is entirely up to you) and always state our name and engineer when promoting the recording (online or physically)

this is a genuine deal and a one off, no hidden extras. everything involved is stated here. we benifit from it our end and so do you.
