Hey there. Just letting you know those drum mags aren't all they're cracked up to be. They're slow to feed even with good batteries, they begin to misfire once they're half empty any if you've a 9.6 or li-po gun they simply can't keep up. They're only advantage is that they look bad ass.

I know because I have an MG36 and tend not to use mine.

so would you advise that I spend my money on a normal mag instead?
i was also gonna get a 3000rd double drum mag.
Does it still misfire if you use the button to wind it B4 you shoot?

    Thanks

I have a jg g36e myself with no upgrades and only recently started using the double barrell mag. The gun itself has no upgrades and is working fine, once you have a the mag and gun together it is a very light support aeg to use and even some mates of mine have said the same. The only gripe i have is the single shot, when i have it on full auto it shoots perfectly and feeds perfectly. Even when im winding the mag and shooting full auto i can shoot contiunously for about 20 secs and then i need to stop shooting until the mag catches up.
However when i switch to single fire, it tends to misfeed and may shoot 3 bb the first shot but after the second shot it fires single bb normally. Now i haven't experimented with different brands of bb's to start solving this.
If its a thing your gonna upgrade the aeg, i wouldnt put in a faster motor as it may perform too fast for the mag to catch up but others might disagree with that. Any upgrades i was advise on would be a a guarder hop up, shim the gearbox and if your wallet allows a tightbore barrell.
Apart from the first time i use single shot after full auto the mags fine for me...
    Hope this helps..

like was just said, you can be lucky and get a good stream of fire, but it does misfeed a lot... As far as i can see its down to the design, I have the SRC one. I would stick with conventional mags, or even if you want higher capacity buy a battleaxe double mag and re-wire it. I had one of them for my M15 that i rewired myself and it performed flawlessly. At the end of the day its really a trade off. Function or capacity.

    Performs perfectly.
    Sound activated or continuous feed.
