    Hey guys
Tis my 30th birthday in september and my sister and brothers said they'd buy me a new camera - the only thing is which one to get - also I don't want to be greedy with the price - looking for a digital camera that's good for bringing out and about but takes good pics - these were the ones I was looking at but would like feedback on them...

    canon powershot sx200
    nikon coolpix s8000

or if there is a better one someone can recommend
    Cheers
    :)

It doesn't have as much shutter lag. You will come to hate shutter lag. There isn't much difference anyway.

cool - cos i have a samsung atm and it's the worst in world - changes it settings all the time - just looking for a small point and shot I can bring out with me that I don't have to keep fiddling with all the time

I'd say get a Panasonic Lumix TZ7 or TZ10 for the big zoom
