    Hi,

I received an email recently, with 5 or 6 files attached, .jpg, the iPad doesn't show them so I can't open them, but can on a net book , anyone know why this is?

Do I have to get an app to open these files?

    Thanks.

They should open as normal and can be saved to Photos. No idea what's going on there.

Outlook sometimes doesn't like send attachments to computers that aren't also using outlook.

You end up with an attachment called win.dat

Attached jpgs show up as missing (question mark icon appears) when email is opened on iPad, but shows up fine on my iPhone. Settings on remote loading is on.

    What gives?

Can you view jpg format on your Ipad?
Are you using hotmail on Ipad?
Are you using Safari or using the built in Mail application?
