What is the package all about?

Yep I signed up to it last year, 2 years fee free banking and 2 years free IIB online banking, don't really need it it's more useful to small business. Not a whole lot extra to it than the normal business account.

What kind of interest rate does Aib have?
What else do you have to look out for if looking to move to another bank?
With ACC but they closed local branch and nearest one is over 30 miles away now so may switch if there is a decent alternative.

We looked at it, but really couldnt see the point right now.

A personal bank account has way lower charges, and free internet banking.

Didnt meet the bank about it, but for starting out at least (you're at a slightly more developed stage than us) we could see zero benefit.

overdraft rate is 7.9% with aib... am currently paying 5.2 % so think a move is out

if you dont mind me asking, which bank are you with that gives such a low overdraft rate?
ACC is having a laugh with me!

while i was in there today i got the feeling they didnt want to take me on... got a phonecall when i was driving home that they want to meet me , the reason for the high overdraft rate is that you shouldn't be overdrawn- not likely in my case at the minute:rolleyes:- i am just going to see what they have to offer ...

The usual bank offer - sounds great, but they just want to trawl thousands of applicants and cream off the few most productive clients.
