Silverstone TJ07 case decision

    Hey,

I am looking to go watercooling so I must decide on a new case as an antec p180 just aint going to cut the mustard on this order.

So what I have been looking at so far is purchasing a coolermaster HAF 932 case new from peats or komplett. It is large enough to accomadate the watercooling kit which would include a 360mm radiator at the top and possiby one more if I decide to go that option later.

But then mes gots to a thinkings. What about a silverstone TJ-07 case that so many people rave on about. Problem is that they are expensive new so I decided to look second hand.
Problem is that I dont know too much about the many incarnations and variatons of the TJ-07 so my question is...

Is there a significant difference in the slight different models of the TJ-07, will the all be able to accommodate a 360mm or possibly a or larger radiator which I have seen some builds do, and is there anything I should be weary about buying them second hand besides from wear and tear?

    Thanks in advance.

In my experience on OCN (another computer forum) Silverstone owners seem to be like Lian Li owners and take great care of their cases, chances are you might get some small scruff's but they are usually sold in great nick :)

I'm nearly sure you can mount a 360 in them too, im not 100% sure though. You should look into the Corsair 800D, that case was built for WC and will do a 360 up top :D

I bought a tjo7 recently and overall i'm happy with it.

Hard drive bays suck big time though as there isn't any sort for anti-vibration mounting.Boy oh boy the whole case resonated from my drive.
I'm in process of getting myself a water setup so i wont be using the bays anyway.I'm using one of these and they do a decent job of keeping drive quiet.

If your lucky that you find a 2nd hand one they may have made some holes for cable management as this is must with this case.

As for rads you can fit (although tight) a quad and a double in the bottom chamber.
The top will take a double with some modding and a triple with alot of modding.I'm not 100% sure what clearence you would have if using a standard depth rad and fans.I would think a slimer rad would be needed up top.
