Does this Facebook behaviour annoy you?

There's a guy on Facebook that:

-Comments on nearly all of my statuses, despite the fact that barely any have any connection with him.
-Interrupts my back-and-forth conversations with irrelevant crap.
-"Likes" comments that are in fact internal jokes that he doesn't get.
-"Likes" comments written on my page by people he doesn't know.
-Adds friends of friends who don't know him and comments on all their links/posts/statuses (often getting ignored in the process).

This really annoys me. The worst is when I'm waiting on a reply from somebody and get a notification, only to discover that it is in fact an irrelevant comment from someone else.

Does this happen to you/annoy you as well?

Delete this person from your life right now.

Erm, you know you can remove people right?

I prune my friends list every so often. People who I consider too distant to be called a friend anymore.

Sometimes they re-add me - and in that case I might re-add them, until the next pruning I guess.

This way - I've kept a nice managable 200 friends.

Clearly the only solution is to kill yourself.

To project a barely credible appearance of popularity.

    How do you know?

oh the old "I'm too cool to be on facebook, stuck behind a computer chatting to people online, like how stupid is that, why don't you just text them" answer..

    Block/delete him.

What annoys me is people 'liking' their own posts. Specially when it makes no sense anyway.

Is that what your geologist said?

    Not quite.

I made it my business not to add someone else that I know, and it has become a highly controversial topic.

I just want to avoid a repeat of that.

    Reduced friend count
    vs
    Keeping friends you don't like

    No contest really.

Delete the person from your list and then probably best to kill him to be sure.

I actually like Facebook, but it's only as annoying as the amount of annoying people you allow in.

nah, i just think facebook is used for no reason other than to show others how many 'friends' one has. fcuk that.

i'd much rather rather this place, where we can talk about grannies dildo-ing themselves to death, debate how many fingers a beggar should have cut off for trying to bum cigarettes, and read the daily "my mate's nephews dog's previous owner's auntie's sister-in-law died of a cannabis overdose" thread.

Right we've established that the best thing to do is to delete him from my list of friends and then kill him just to be sure.

Moderators, please close this now. I've obtained the information I was looking for.
