    Hi all,

as for title, is it possible to bring for an infant (16 months) a child Backpack instead of a buggy without paying extra fees?

    Thanks :)

Do you mean like a baby sling? If so yes, we carried out twins in Mei-Tais (soft, backpack-like carriers) around many airports and airplanes.

Yep, I've done it no bother. Mind you I brought both that and the buggy the last time I travelled. I carried the backpack as handluggage as I could stow items inside it in the overhead locker. I checked the buggy at the gate as normal. When we got to our destination I put the baby into the backpack and got the buggy off the carousel.

You just can't beat the backpack!
