Rock/Metal Guitarist in Dublin

Guitar player seeking ambitious (original) band. influences are jimmy page, satriani, hendrix, SRV.
listen to alot of soundgarden, alice in Chains, STP, Janes Addiction,
Type O Negative, Pantera, anything by Zakk Wylde, Rush, The Damned and much more.
pretty much all styles with focus on rockin and kickin ass...
24 from south dublin. have experience. will travel to city centre for rehearsals.
looking for band with demos (however rough) wanting to get gigging or touring.
have own gear.

ok. haven't got many responses yet so am going to ask anyone playing drums or bass looking to get jamming to contact me. i'll play any style from blues to metal to funk etc... i like everything from Hendrix, Gary Moore, Thin Lizzy to Pantera, Type O, Pumpkins.
can play along to most blues such as SRV pretty well although what i really like is something a bit heavier like Janes Addiction, Sepultura, Soundgarden, Megadeth to name a few. can handle most of that pretty well too.
i'd like to just get together and play and with people who want to be able to play in a band with lots of freedom and not too worried about what genre we fall into. something with a bit of everything.
i'm based in Dublin so ideally we'd practice in city centre.
i wouldn't expect brilliant musicians but if you have reasonable ability and knowledge of theory that would be great. no beginners please.
aim would be to be an original band but we'll jam out a few covers first if necessary.
lets see who we can get together...
