Hi ... I have Sky+, one box not multi-room. I assume the fact I have Sky+ means I have a Quad LNB (I can see 2 unused "ports") .. so my question is , can I just simply run a cable from one of these free ports into a Freeview Box in another room ??

A freesat or free-to-air satellite receiver - yes, a freeview receiver - no.
