Hi All, I notice that 3 recently had a campaign promoting the the new €9.99 p/month package.
I've been with them for over a year and as I live a long way from the mast serving my sector I have had slow speeds constantly for the past year...80kbs av. 200 odd during the night.
Anyway thought I might take a look at this new package.

'It only allows for 1GB of data per month download'.

My current package at €19.99 p/month allows 15gb. I generally use 3GB per month.
    Just something to consider.........

If you use 3GB, then how is 1GB of any use to you? Completely pointless to even think about this.

    That is my point exactly.
Sorry if I was unclear. I only just found out about the download amount so thought it would be good to help make others aware of this by posting.

We use about 16Gbyte to 18Gbyte a month. Sometimes more. We don't use RTE player, only occasional (few minutes, few times a week) YouTube etc. No Internet Radio. Family of five all with laptop each.

1Gbyte is only good for a smart phone that is complement to having real broadband at Home/Office.
