Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Install of discs taking forever?

    Is this happening for anyone else? Belted it up to 33% now its just going snail pace

    everything went pretty smooth to me,took me about 20mins:D win7 64bit rocks!

    Having read this thread i timed installation and it was 8 mins in total and about 2 mins to patch.

    I'm pretty much running on dial-up until Tuesday so wasn't expecting having to patch the game straight away, took about half an hour I'd say, installation time was similar I'd say though

    I had to try a few times and I couldn't change the file location or it crashed, I had the same problem with WOW. Must be a bug in Blizzard games.

    the dvd has a lot of compressed files that need to be read, extracted and installed to fill 12gb. depending on the speed of your dvd drive, processor, and hard drive, yes the install can take a long time. my new computer managed 5 minutes, the laptop came in at about 45 minutes.

    having troubles with the downloaded installer, it freezes on file 16 or 17

    I bought the french edition dvd by accident which installs fine from the DVD.

    I uninstalled the beta, french edition before trying the gb-eng version, no joy past the SC1 recap screen.

    needless to say I'm pissed, will probably have to reinstall OS and try again, grrrr.

    fixed it, the install program looks for a dvd before the local directory, having left the french dvd in the cdrive it broke the app. all good now :)
