Having trouble with my iPad, it will not stay on auto-join for my home WiFi network. I put in the password, it connects, I switch the tab for auto-join to ON and then after 20 seconds it flips back again to OFF.

Anybody else see this issue or no how to solve it?

Don't have the problem myself but I've seen a YouTube clip where some guy was installing an app and the wireless kept dropping,

I know the 3.2.1 update addresses some wifi issue but not sure what that is, have you updated?

I'm running on version 3.2.1 at the moment - that's the latest

If you're using WEP encryption then that can cause that issue.

I had to bite the bullet at home last week and switch to WPA2 in order to facilitate the iPad.

I'd be leaving that switch to off once I've inputted the wifi and connected for the first time

Got mine back in April and i had a lot of wifi issues, there was a lot of info on the apple boards at apple.com. the recent update solved my issues.

You might need to reconfigure your router it worked for me at first then it started to drop it, as i said, until the update now it works fine

Hi All, thanks for your input. I have resolved the issue by restoring the software on my iPad. Now the "auto-join" button has changed to "forget this network".

Hopefully I can forget this issue until the next update :pac:

That's a good thing, WPA2 is the most secure - WEP is a joke.
