i have darker skin on the tops of my inner thighs....it looks like dirt but i scrub daily so thats not the issue. i havent had it long but i have a new boyfriend and im really embarrased incase he thinks im dirty. im a size 16 so im thinking it could be something to do with my thighs rubbing off each other all day and i uasally wear jeans....

dose anyone else have this problem and how do i get rid of it??

To be honest I think it would be hard for any here to say what it is over the internet. If it's something you are worried about it might be no harm to pay a visit to your GP just to see exactly what it is. It's the safest bet all around.

it sounds like you 'may' have a hormonal imbalance. i could be wrong, but one of the symptons is darkened patches of skin on your body. i dont think these marks would be from your skin rubbing off each other. Your best bet is to go to your GP

Go see your GP - no one on an internet forum will be able to give you the answer.

What I can tell you is I had similar dark skin in patches near my armpits after an allergic reaction to a deodorant and a friend once had some on her neck that turned out to be a fungal infection - so there are no doubt many and varied reasons for it - but only your GP will be able to diagnose your particular condition.

I have this also OP and I'm also a size 16. You're right, it's chaffing of the tops of your thighs...that's all. Think about it, your legs are rubbing together at that point, and the skin has become tougher and slightly discoloured.
You sound quite young OP. I'm in my 30s and went to my GP with this same issue when I was about 19. She laughed at me and told me to go off and do some leg exercises, so that my legs wouldn't chaff at the tops.
I never did of course! Never affected me in the boyfriend department either!

OP we cannot diagnose you or give you medical advice over the internet

If you are worried about this go see your GP
