    Hi there, can anyone recommend a good hoover, mine has just died on me, there are so many on the market.

    Depends what you need it for. Is it for a house? Wooden floors/carpets?

    Depends on your budget. You can't go too far wrong with Miele and Nilfisk.

    Other than that, we bought a Philips bag-less vacuum cleaner and it's been excellent.

    I'm a Henry user myself and when that packs it in (not sure if it ever will:)) I'll be going for a Miele Cat & Dog (I don't have pets but I want a damn powerful one anyway).
    I'm not swayed by all the fancy marketing of the bagless cleaner from the likes of Dyson etc.
