Played the open singles in Wicklow GC on Sunday last. This was my first time playing this course and gotta say it's a very fine track indeed. Not a long course in my opinion (alot of 3 woods off tees) but more about putting your ball in the right place. Greens were in mint condition which was my downfall as could not get the pace of them....lightning fast.

Only managed 30pts off 10 but will definitely play it again. Anyone hear what sort of scores came in?

Without question, some of the best greens around.... only course better last year that I played was Smurfit course and i played a lot of top quality tracks.... course isn't everyones cup of tea, some quirky holes, a lot of half shots etc... but I'm a big fan.... recommend people give it a spin if they can...... two great scores in to win.. 44 each off 11 and 10 handicaps...
