Firmware update 3.41 will add recommendations for games and videos on PlayStation Store. When you’re browsing through the details of a particular title, you’ll see a new “You May Like” section on the right-hand side. This section lists additional items based on the purchases of other PlayStation Network members who have purchased the item you’re currently looking at.

And that is it!! Sony seriously release far too many updates, things likes this should be held off on till they have actual features to add.

"You played MAG, you might like this new Red Dead Redemption DLC from Rockstar Games"

This will be bullcrhap and serve only to sell new, probably unrelated junk.

You'll just get one. When you update your PS3 you effectively redownload the whole OS. Which has the downside of taking longer than an incremental update would, but the upside that if you miss any updates, you won't have a huge queue of patches to go through.

Anyway, this seems like a very minor excuse for an update. Why couldn't they roll this into the next one?

I'd say I have a few game patches too

Am I correct in thinking that if I was a PS+ subscriber then my PS3 would tunr itself on (from standby) and download this automatically when it is released?

Only if the update was release during or before the 2 hour update time you set, i had mine at 4am and didn't get it so i've made later.

For jesus sake when are they going to produce cross-game chat for the last time!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,083 ✭✭✭Grumpypants

They have cross game chat working but there is a massive back lash against it due to cheating. Someone can join a different team in say MW2 for example and then tell his own friends on the other team where everyone is hiding. Now you might think no one would be that sad but you would be wrong. :D

One thing I don't like about PSN these days is the amount of ad spam and the likes.

Everytime I log in, I automatically press 'X' to get to the 'newest arrivals' section out of habit. But bastards changed that to the Plus section now :pac:

In PSN is the plus stuff not added to the top so you still start at new?
