have heard that new regulations are coming on where u will have to take 40h lessons or so with approved instructor to pass the test

    does anybody know

if i will book the test before the new regulations will i have to take those lessons to pass the test?
i mean if i will take the test while the new regulations are in the place, but the test was booked before it - will i be able to pass it without those lessons?

hope u understand me lads and know the answer ;)

All I can say, now that I have a Full license:D. Its about time:p! It a total joke to think I drove for a year on a Provo license without any qualified driver with me, all because I applied for my first provo when I was at school, but never used it, and when I started to drive. I was on my second! What a total joke, when I think about it!

The new regs will probably apply, even if you apply now, but have the test after the change over. The rules of the road will not change, even if the test does, and you will be expected to be able to adapt to the test!

Haha, yea, a lot of people have done this - it's ridiculous!

    Good oul' Ireland.

The rule sounds great on paper... but my god.. how unbelievably open for abuse!

I'd much prefer it if you didn't refer to me as 'sunshine', i find it very patronising. I'm not going to get into any insulting or childish arguments with you, I just think that our views on driving are very very different.
