Public liability insurance re: hiring a venue

I have been trying to find a venue to host a table top sale. Unfortunately, everyone quotes to me that I need public liability. This is not something I can afford do as a member of 'Joe public', and kind of defeats the object of the sale!

Is there a 'loophole' or a way I can argue my case? I will not be making any money out of the actual 'sub letting' of the tables.

Sorry OP, but we are in an era where everyone needs to protect their position and very few people will hire out facilities without Public Liability.

The natural home for the cover you need is PJT Insurance (not involved with them), but you can expect to pay at least €250
