Battle.net opening time?

A lot of people seem to think its gonna be 10pm tonight cos of russian times.

(thats what time WotLK servers came up at for the 'midnight' launch)

So my question is, anyone know of any midnight openings in dublin so i can get the game?

Nope. PC gaming is grim in Ireland. Even Gamesnash who got me wotlk before its launch weren't stocking SC2. They said the distributors had stopped stocking PC games.

UK isn't better. Only ASDA and Tesco are doing midnight launches in stores that are probably 24hours anyway. All the proper midnight launches are happening in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Countries that have a high PC gamer base.

Wow and expansions never had a midnight release afaik. So I really doubt sc2 will :mad:

Just looking to buy the cd-key now..


Any online shops/stores that sell cd-key only? or do I wait until tomorrow for the official blizzard digital sale? prices? anyone??

Still downloading client but it's so slow, it's not even half way there. It'll be tomorrow before I get to play at this rate. Very excited though!

strange, i can click "play", yet i havent paid for it yet..
its also updating itself with a patch.. collosal smegup?

edit: yeah, it loads in normally after patching a fairly small patch, ye get to watch the intro and then get a login screen.. which you cant login to yet haha blizzard..
looks like its 9am via battlenet then, oh well

Didn't see anything on blizz midnight opening site. Most English lads i know were getting from online stores with express delivery.

I have it installed and i have a guest pass for 7 hours of play, but the site wont accept the pass:(

i think the reason it wont work is because the person who owns the main account (the guy who gave you the pass) needs to have at least one character on his account before it will allow the passes to work.

nah, hes been playing for 2 and half hours at this point, still no joy ((

SO annoying, especially since im working like a dog for the next few days and i could play for a good while tonight.
