Had an awful experience with lifestyle_hut seller on ebay

Just stick to the facts - it will be more useful to everyone else

Don't call them gangsters, it won't last long, and then your feedback will be pointless.

What happened ? may help us direct you

But i didnt think you could leave negative feedbakc anymore i only get 3 options 1. positive 2 neutral 3. leave feedback later.

I had a guy sign up and buy something then dissapear. I filled a claim and its meant to give a buyer didnt pay notice but still nothing on his feedback to warn others.

negatives that cant be deleted are factual -

"item never arrived, no communication" etc.. they wont be able to delete that

Be factual and informative to warn others. Do not do it spur of the moment, you only get so many characters so make use of them. Post up the situation here and you will get some good suggestions of what to put down. Think of what would put you off as a potential buyer, if I see just a blunt abusive neg feedback I do not pay it as much attention/heed as a well worded one.

I left neg feedback only once and was delighted to see the sellers sales plummeted after it. I checked his history several months after leaving it and saw his sales had completely dropped while he appeared to be attempting to putting up the same amount of auctions of similar items. It was a real kick in the balls to him and really would have put off other potential buyers.

Dont buy off Ebay too frequently but this is what happened,

    Seller Lifestyle_hut

Bought T shirt/polo top off them arrived damaged, returned with Proof of postage, they pawned me off with various messages, saying it was being dealt with, had'nt received the faulty item I returned and then saying had'nt recived my proof of postage etc etc

Although I did eventually get a replacement and refund of postage , this took a hell of a lot of communication on my part, I reckon they hoped I would get tired of the ping ponging of messages.

    What I did not realise was they were at delaying the whole process ;
so that I could not open a resolution 45 day limit
and give feedback 60 day limit

    Will watch out next time

    are you a seller?

sellers cannot leave negative feedback for buyers, hence why you perhaps do not have the option to leave a negative.

buyers can leave negatives for sellers, however.

just make sure to leave accurate informative feedback for others, but also the dsr ratings are helpful in this regard. if a lot of customers leave 1s or 2s in the dsr ratings their account will be limited, however negative feedback doesn't have such an effect. it is just reliant on people reading it before buying, so the detailed seller ratings are just as important x

Everything you've told us here is in the feedback and it doesn't take a genius to work out what sort of person you are buying from or that most of the stuff is fake.

Just look at some of those negatives, 117 in the last month alone.
WAST OF TIME HAD TO OPEN CASE TO GET MONEY BACK

item did not arrive was told replacement would be sent then nothing :( (claim!)

    Run out of stock

Item never dispatched, seller suggested it's not their problem!

Learn every delaying tactic in the book from this seller

Infantile delaying tactics used to postpone refund

And on it goes. Always check out the detail of the feedback (especially negative), and don't just go on the percentage.

a hundred odd bad feeedbacks sounds terrible but that is out of 15,000 that month

for a guy whos only been a member since febuary id say hes built himself an incredible business

36,000 sales is incredible in 3 months ,i doubt this is his first ebay account ;)

Yes, but he would need to learn a bit of customer care to rid the negatives from the front few pages of feedback!

(Actually thats less than 1% bad feedback currently)

What it tells me, very clearly, is that when something goes wrong, the seller doesn't give a damn. I've dealt with sellers like that before, they just ignore you, and if you submit a Paypal claim, they'll just ignore that too and make you wait until the time out and you win by default.

It only takes a second to click the refund button. Sellers that can't be arsed to do that are just bad sellers.

As a seller , we have left negative feedback to buyers .- like this :

You have no choice but to tick the box for positive feedback , but you can however still leave negative comments .

afaik buyers can ask eBay to remove ANY negative comments left in their "positive" feedback by sellers. Most wouldn't know or won't bother. I think its supposed to be no feedback or positive feedback.

Not that I agree with the system, I used to love reading the really sh1ty things really crap sellers would say to try and get back at buyers who had left negative, sellers leaving negative used to be a better sign not to deal with them than the negatives they got from the buyers.

A seller can simply decline to leave a feedback rather than be forced to leave a negative.

Yes, any negative comments with positive feedback left for buyers will get removed if the buyer reports it. Ive done so in the past and queried if this was standard practice.

Just stick to facts. If you had an awful experience then say that and why you had a bad experience.

if the guy was a bit smarter he could have bought a few $0.99 items and used these to obliterate the negative feedback u left him

But the first thing people will look at is the "view negative feedback recieved" option - this shows all negative feedback in the last 1,3,6&12 months. So theres no getting rid for a year, unless ebay delete it!

of course it all depends on scale but if hes a serious serious seller 1 bad feedback will/should do very little damage

esp when it gets lost among thousands of good ones and the % is 98 or 99+ posiive

IMO one well written negative that is not sensationalist would be enough to seriously reconsider buying from a seller.
