Good time to sell store bullocks??

    I've five store bullocks weighing 400kgs born in July '09, nice and flesy cattle. is it a good time to sell at present?

    if i had them i would keepthem till 500kgs thats the weight they want them at.

    I always think that the best time to sell is when you least want to.:D
    Thats usually when you have loads of grass and the weather is fine.

    Thats when others really want to buy too, so prices tend to be at their highest.

    True, when the glut comes in October prices usually fall - unless there's a good outlet for them via export factories will bring the prices to rock bottom. Although fodder is in good supply around here for a change so there will be less people selling because of lack of feed like last year. Good spurt of grass growth in the last few weeks around here too and land is reasonably dry - might prolong housing a little bit.
