Amp repair in Cork?

    How's everyone?

    I have a SWR Redhead bass amp that has serious
    issues. To be honest I have no idea what's wrong with it but does anyone know anywhere in Cork that does a good job repairing amps in Cork?

    If you get no joy for a day or two I will move this to the Cork city forum and maybe you'll get more info there. I also have an amp that could do with a look from someone who knows what they are doing.

    I am not sure if Steve Nickson (I think that is his name) does amp repair, but he does guitar repair alright. He is up on MacCurtain Street, across the road from Lesuire Plex, in an arch way. He might be worth checking out to see if he does, he's a sound guy anyway.

    Who's Paolo_M? I don't think Steve does amps? I know about the Guitar repairs.

    The lads in Pro Musica swear by a guy in Kerry who picks up amps from the shop. He's meant to be the best in the country. Maybe you should drop in there for a chat...

    Paolo_M is supposed to be incredible. If you get a chance, go to the Rehearsal studios in Blackpool/Dublin Hill - there's a Polish guy advertising amp repairs there who's supposed to be a genius aswell.

    What are the serious issues?
