iphone and tethering, definitive answers?

    Okay, i have an iphone with vodafone, i also have a wifi ipad (i didnt get the 3g version on the assumption that ill mostly use it at home).

    That said id like to have the use of 3g the odd time when ill need it.

    There are 2 options:

    Buy a 3 mifi dongle
    or tether

    Option 2 suits better, i always have my phone on me and im already paying for 2 gigs of data with my iphone plan.

    So qn is, if i buy myfi thro cydia does it just use my data allowance or will vodafone cop it and charge me for tethering,

    do i need to pony up and pay them 10 a month and just tether that way (still makes more sense to me than buying a mifi dongle seperately)

    it will go through ur allowance, i've used pdanet with no problems
