This is way too many - I'm kinda fearful for the next series and the plotline that should be kinda running though it

So we've got a Rocky Horror episode, a Britney Spears episode, possibly a Paul McCartney/Beatles episode - and then (some only rumoured) guest stars Javier Bardem, Susan Boyle, Katy Perry, Perez Hilton, Jennifer Lopez, Daniel Radcliffe...

I think that it would be nice for them to focus on the actual characters and develop the storylines properly, instead of all these gimmicks

I would have thought Rocky Horror was a bit too adult for Glee - they'll have to be fairly selective presumably

I can hear Rachel singing "Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch Me" already !! Mind you wouldn't mind seeing Puck as Frank-N-Furter!

Doin' The Timewarp - how good would that be?

Oh nice one, looking forward to that.
As for Rocky being to adult for Glee, hello there has already been Finn in a dress and more sex and partner swapping in Glee then there is in Rocky.

I suppose that's true, I'm just finding it hard to imagine - I'm sure they'll do a great job of it though

Barry Bostwick - who played played Brad Majors in the flick - and singer Meat Loaf will come on board Glee and portray radion station managers who have an "interesting proposal" for Sue Sylvester, sources say.
Earlier in the week, fellow original castmember Susan Sarandon said she'd be interesting in an appearance, as well.

They are both famed for their over-the-top musical numbers, catchy songs and memorable characters.
So perhaps it was only a matter of time before the kids from Glee got in touch with their inner freak to perform numbers from The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

In an episode to be aired on October 26 - in time for Halloween - the cast put on a variety of freaky outfits to play characters from the hit musical.

article-0-0B944AB1000005DC-719_468x323.jpg Horrors: Finn (Cory Monteith) plays Brad Majors in a special Rocky Horror episode of Glee to be aired on October 26

article-0-0B944ACD000005DC-186_468x581.jpg Freaking out: Kurt (Chris Colfer) sports a white wig and pasty white make up as creepy handyman Riff Raff

New photographs from the episode show a bewildered looking Finn (Cory Monteith) dressed conservatively as Brad Majors, and Kurt (Chris Colfer) looking creepy in pasty white makeup and long blonde wig as handyman Riff Raff.
And it seems the cast loved getting dressed up for their parts on the episode.

'I've loved Rocky Horror since I first saw it when I was 12,' Colfer told TV Guide. 'There is no point to it except being crazy and having a good time.'
'I remember in the pilot telling (show creator) Ryan Murphy how I wanted to do the Time Warp,' he added. 'So if it's a total horrible, horrible thing, you can blame me,'

The episode will also see Quinn (Dianna Agron) decked out in pink wig and black suit as maid Magenta, while cast newcomers John Stamos and Chord Overstreet get in on the action with Stomos in black leather as Eddie and Overstreet in gold shorts and singlet.

article-0-0B944AAC000005DC-561_468x638.jpg Moody: Dr Carl (John Stamos) plays Eddie clad in leather trousers, jacket and black boots

'That movie musical really captures the spirit of Glee,' said Ryan Murphy.

'I remember being 13 or 14 and seeing that movie. There were a lot of other people around who didn’t fit in in their schools, and no one cared about them.
'There was a feeling of community among outsiders. I thought, "Oh, that works great for the show."
'We pay tribute to the movie, and that’s the first album we’re releasing out this season, and it’s called The Rocky Horror Glee Show.'

It wasn't too bad, but no way as good as last week, thing is...i'm not familiar with the movie, so i've no clue about the music or what scenes they copied. Very Emma/Will centric. Kurt got sidelined, in fact most were invisible incl. Asain and other Asian, Quinn, Artie.

Not alot of humour but a few funny moments here and there, but i enjoyed it more then i thought i would, i loved the scene with Emma and shirtless Will....ladies, did you swoon? :p

Brit - "I'm going as a peanut allergy."

Becky - "get me some chocolate or I will cut you"

Well it wasnt "abulous". I am not keen on Sam still but am loving Carl and it great hearing him and Emma sing for a change.

And Becky dressing as Sue was great

Sue's Corner is back with Barry Bostwick and Meatloaf cameos

Did Santana say wanky at one stage?

Well I absolutely love John Stamos, so that was a plus. I thought the secondary characters really shone in this episode.

It was a well done special I'll be honest. But I do love Rocky Horror, so it'd be hard to go wrong. They didn't mess around too much with the songs.

PS: Kurt looks like Kurt Cobain here:

Ohkay... I love Glee. I hate people dissing Glee. But...

I HATED this episode. I just don't get Rocky horror. It was boring nothing happened and I didn't now any of the songs. Yes Mr Schue and Emma singing was nice but blah blah blah. It bored me. And yes it is prolly cause i have never seen Rocky Horror.... but I can't wait for next week :D

On an aside tho seriously when are Britney and Santana going to get together :P

Oh and a wasted opportunity to have Mike Chang topless too

Didn't like this episode much at all. Not much happened really!
The Time Warp at the end was the best bit.

I would have thought Rocky Horror was a bit too adult for Glee - they'll have to be fairly selective presumably

They were I seen it yesterday, and some of the words had to be changed in songs to avoid things being mentioned

I really liked this episode. But I love Rocky Horror.

Enjoyed Becky's 'Sue like' remark to Will. And I loved the songs.

I am starting to go off Emma a bit. I didn't like her voice during that song, and I don't like her acting.

I was very apprehensive about this ep because I'm a huge Rocky fan but overall it wasn't too bad.
My one gripe was Frank-n-furter being played a girl. It's just not right!
The rest of it was harmless enough but I did think Emma doing "Touch-a, touch-a" was too out of character for her. I was cringing watching it.
Kurt was a great Riff raff and I liked Santana's Magenta and Brittany's Columbia. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it was fine but a bit pointless. It did not develop the plot much at all and seems like a waste of an ep. Too many themed eps could kill Glee. It's well on its way to getting too gimmicky.

I think the glee club doing a stage musical is probably the most realistic thing that's happened in the entire history of the show, actually! given that it's hard to place it in the same cateogry as the Britney and Madonna episodes and I'd be very willing to see more episodes where the musical centerpiece is the proudction or otherwise preformance of a musical.

Well, I love the Rocky Horror so was excited when I heard this. Them doing a musical was definitely in the realms of realistic but no school would allow that to be performed. The lyric changes stood out a mile and didn't sit well. Have to say I loved Emma's song, though out of character, however since the actress did that as her audition piece for the show, she was always going to sing it. Stamos did well and he looked great in the leather. Almost didn't recognise Meatloaf and Bostwick. There was however zero plot development and I think they really need to pull their socks up. And what's this about no episode next week?

"Give me some chocolate or I'll cut you"
    :D

Good to see Mercedes getting more lead stuff (Although a female Frank-n-furter felt really wrong) and seeing way less of Rachel is always nice, but a Will/Emma episode? Yuck.

Man, how many times are they gonna do the whole "Schu trusts in Sue, Sue betrays that trust, they have a shouting match, alls good by the end of the episode". Every episode!

Mr Schu annoys me, but I did swoon at him shirtless, just little!
