I am with O2, but blocking imgur.com was the last straw. I use the reddit site alot but its worthless without imgur.

What provider can you recommend for fast mobile access and imgur not blocked? Phone being used is HTC Desire.
I know some of the networks might not be up to par on HSDPA speeds and might have Edge data connection alot. I'd prefer a high speed mobile data connection for youtube etc.

    Meteor
    Three
    Voda

    any recommendations or warnings? thanks

O2 are the only operator blocking websites, so any of the others will suffice. Whether you get high speed or not, no one here can answer. All depends on your location and what works for you.

none of the other networks block sites just o2 as far as im aware anyway..
best bet before you buy would be to check signal in your area..
what kind of service you will get with other providers is largly unknown as it depends on what area you are in.
if you go with vodafone they dont have EDGE only GPRS AND 3G
Meteor have EDGE but there 3G coverage is not very country wide
3 only have 3G so if there is no 3G signal you will get no service at all
best to give them a trial and see which one works best in your area

If you are using shared IP (3 default in the past) then you may be blocked from some sites by the site, due to someone else acting the twit. It's commoner on Mobile that real broadband for 1000s of people to be on the same IP at the same time.

Also anything needed port forwarding on router or application respond to remote (security camera, Remote control, slingbox/ Orb, VNC, ssh) in your house that you want to access when away from home, or VOIP call answering, may not work with some packages on some Mobile providers. All such works on real Broadband.

If you don't actually need Mobility / "on the go" access and it's just for home or office try harder to find real broadband.
