checked my local motors and they only had the colourless good-for-all t-cut (9 quid the small bottle)
I'm looking for the red one as I have some deep scratchings to cover

car is 5 years old, got it a month ago sh, and I don't think it was ever even washed before
t-cut can really bring it back big time, after that will just wax it

have tried wax last week but it didn't work, I need something more aggressive

does anyone know where to get (in Dublin) red t-cut? thanks

    EDIT:
found onlin that halfords has it
    the question now is:
can is metallic paint with scratches all over, one as deep as the primer (keyed on the side) and the external looks were poorly maintained
    colour is wine

    what would be best?
    T-Cut Metallic Colour Restorer
    T-Cut Scratch Remover - Red
    T-Cut Original
    T-Cut Colour Fast Dark Red

Just about any motor factors in the country should have red T-Cut.

Wax will never give a car a shine, just sustain a shine. It has no cutting compound in it.
Standard polish would do a perfect job anyway, then give it a good wax.

T-Cut Colour Magic isn't going to cover deep scratches, it doesn't do a great job of covering minor scratches - did both my old car and my wife's with the Black a couple of years ago and it hardly made any difference.

Comes up nice and shiny, but you can still see the marks.

halfords has 2x1 (cheapest free) in most of their paint care range :)
that scratch restorer is the stuff of legend, I couldn't believe my eyes
deep scratches weren't moved by it
but 95% of my scratches disappeared to the naked eye!

not a product you'll use very often on your car, abrasive stuff
but worth when you have scratches…
    thanks all

I'd go with the T-Cut Original, found it to be the best.
