Mw2: Styles of playing?

Hi,
I've gotten sick of sniping, runnin' and gunnin', n00b tubing etc...
I'm just wondering is there any other styles of playing that are enjoyable?

Pissing people off is fun, or just being one massive distraction, get a riot shield, put your stick sensitivity to full, crouch, spin around constantly, watch the mayhem

sub machine gun with silencer also secodary with silencer, be a ninja sneak around map taking ppl out and keep moving in cover so they cant find you i find its fun for a change :cool:

LOl, did something similar on ground war with 7 other groupies, Everyone created a Noobtube, Danger Close + OMA class and just spammed the air with noobtubes for the entire match...... was funny as **** in the lobby after it with all the whining from the other team.

Nah man we're on a 30 game unbeaten streak. Got to keep it going.:p

Flanking, or just generally going in the complete opposite direction of everyone else on your team (obviously this tends to work best on objective maps). It's the only way I play, and it levels up Marathon and Lightweight pretty quick too from all the running around :pac:

Spas w/ Grip

Semtex
Stuns

Marathon Pro
Lightweight Pro
Ninja Pro

Uav
Counter Uav
Predator


On close quarter maps like trailer park, vacant, highrise, skidrow etc. this works because the enemy will more often than not be caught completely off guard by the speedy blur with a shotgun coming around the corner.

Also when running with the spas I find its quicker to jump + aim + shoot than aiming from a sprint. Plus the jump just adds to the difficulty of hitting you

aiming with the spas? pffft, steady aim pro and a grip and you'll be hipfiring people with headshots like theres no tomorrow

I just find I get more range when I ADS. Its very satisfying killing a guy with a spas from 10-12 feet away

Jump and aim down a bit. Headshots galore!

Use the 44 magnum on afghan. It's surprisingly accurate from distance. Fun getting long range kills with it.

i like the akimbo with steady aim . suprisingly good range just fire off a round from one then another and keep going untill your empty .handy to have for close quarters or when you get caught on a reload

You don't rake in too many kills, but it's fun as hell for me.

TBH never was concerned with K/D ratio, streaks (apart from the ones where i'm in my jeyes fluid) and so mainly went-a-running with the UMP etc. Don't get me wrong, the vast majority of my TDM matches I ended up with more kills than deaths but that's what was fun for me. I suppose as FuriousJustice said last night, its not being overly concerned about killstreaks.

However, I have recently slowed down the style (and I use that term loosely) - don't have as many kills, but not as many deaths either.

Completely different style of play has kinda freshened up the game a bit*


*every now and then I get pis*ed off and select the UMP class
