latency trouble with logic 9

    hey guys ,im recording my guitar throug my hot rod amp with my mic wih 48v power on , i have recorded previous tracks fine with the cab miced up but now im getting latency issues trying to record another track , its like a a second behind and havent got a clue on how to fix this problem ,maybe im being blind to it but im sure some could point what im doing wrong .i must add im only new to logic so i dont know that much in's and out's too and am quit slow :P

    Have you tried reducing your buffer size? I'm unfamiliar with Logic but I presume this is the case with most DAW's.

    do you know how to do that ???


    heres the thing right .iv just got a new 2010 mabook pro 17" 4gb ram and 500 hard drive with an i5 procesor but yet still its still kind of glitching when i have the ultrabeat playing could it be the cpu power?? but i was told even on a 2.0 ghb macbook wouldnt glitch etc

    just thought i wouldnt have this problem with logic . . .had it every bleedin second with pro tools . . .i a now a pro tools basher :)
