Fallout 3: GOTY question.

    i love fallout 3, a lot. i have the standard edition and i was thinking of downloading the add ons but it would cost more then just buying the GOTY edition at gamestop. so my question is, will my save from the standard edition work on the GOTY edition? i am just abou to start the last mission if that makes any difference.

    Ya your saves will work fine. I did the same myself awhile back. As far as I can remember tho just meke sure you have a save just before you finish the game, that way when you get the GOTY you can continue instead of having to start over. So just save before the final battle and continue from there

    Just got the GOTY 2 weeks ago, as 25 euro seemed like a better deal than 5x€9.99. I just replaced the regular disk with the GOTY one and it just worked as before, didn't even install any patches. And I could continue my "regular edition" saves without having to do anything.

    I'm playing through the second add-on (the Pitt) now, not bad value so far.

    it isnt working for me! i just got the GOTY disk and when i open it it just says 'new game'. i have not done the final mission in the normal edition and i have a few saves from throughout the game so it should be picking up one of those if its not picking up my latest. what should i do?
