    File Association problem...

    Follow the instructions on this..

    jebus!, I know how to do that and even i got bored reading those instructions!

    Right click on your m3u file > open with > Choose default program;

    Choose your program (Win Media Player in your case OP), browse if you have to, but just make sure and tick the box that says "always use this program to open tis kind of file". hit OK and you're done!

    Now, it may be a problem with Firefox, where you have to tell it what to do with m3u files from now on!

    so either the windows media plugin for ff is broken and needs to be reinstalled, or you just need to tell ff what to do with the file type when hit the link. what's the url of the m3u file?

    Every time I clicked that link it opened in firefox in the windows media player plugin.It now asks what I want to do with this file.I tried changing it in the applications option in firefox but it doesnt give the option for the wmp plugin in the list.Thanks for trying to fix this for me

    In Firefox go to Tools -> Options.
    Go to the applications tab
    Find m3u in the list of Content Type's
    Make sure the default action is set to "Use Windows Media Player plugin"
    restart Firefox and try again (probably not needed, but anyway)

    well it didn't work for me either. i think the plugin just doesn't work well anymore on newer versions of FF. you could try installing an older version of firefox, or live with it opening in media player!

    They problem with that is you can only listen to 1 stream at a time.In the plugin you could open a different stream in each tab.

    What plugins are listed when you do this.

    As someone already mentioned that particular plugin may be disabled due to incompatibility with that version of firefox.
    Go to Tools -> Addons
    click Plugins
    Is the plugin listed here, is it grayed out.
