    Howeya lads,

A mate is trying to get me to play some FPS games online with him on the PS3. I can't for the life of me get used to the PS3 controller and have been reading about the FRAGnStein Mouse.

They seem to be quite good but I would like to know whether anyone here has had any experience with them?

I've never heard about a mouse by that name but a quick search gave me the following results.

People seem to have mixed opinions about it. Maybe somebody else here can help.

I have only started playing FPS on console this generation, before that it was only with a mouse but you do get used to it fast enough and console games are made to be played with a controller.

I have been playing FPS games on the PC for 15 years. I have been playing FPS games on the consoles since Doom on the 32X but really got into them with Halo on the Xbox.

I am decent with an analogue stick but that is where it ends. I just can't enjoy playing on a control pad. After years of playing Counter Strike, I crave precision!

The mouse I am asking about seems to be a decent compromise but I was hoping that someone here would have had some experience with one.

I own a frag fx v2 its a wired version and would have to say I wish I went wireless to begin with. You have only 2 options the dual SFX frag pro or the fragnstein.

The reviews I've read don't say one is clearly better than the other, I think you would be happy with either purchase but next time around I'm goin with a fragnstein and it seems the price is cheaper on amazon too.

I don't think there is that much in the difference and its just which one you prefer as they will both give you the result that you want.

Kind of gives you an unfair advantage though don't you think. You're gonna be able to headshot everyone while they're still trying to line up a shot on you with the two analog sticks.

the games are designed to run on a controller, if someone does better it's probable due to being more accustomed to a mouse. If the really was a advantage in this it would be treated the same as rapid fire mods and banned.

There is pros and cons for both, the ones I have found is accuracy is better on the mouse if your used to playing with a mouse. My mate plays with controller and has done for years and he wouldn't dream of using a mouse and he very good with accuracy.

Doin 180 turns and stuff are easier on the analog stick.

Knife is easier on analog stick as your thumb is already on it but on the mouse its where scroll wheel is.

Thats what I can think of right now

I don't really care. It's about enjoyment for me and using the control pad is just too frustrating!

Thanks for the replies though lads!
