Hi guys... Just a quick question about busses. Just wondering what way do you have your busses set up.

Do you guys use one or multiple busses on your drum kits along with what others. Ie a guitar and synth buss, a vocal buss ect

i have about 4 or 5 differant templates, all slightly differant depending on what music im working on but they all generally follow a similiar idea:

    1 drum bus
2 parallel drum busses (not always used)
1 bass (ill usually have about 3 differant bass signals going in)
    2 guitars
    3 vox (ld. bk1, bk2)
    1 synths/strings

    +
3 reverb (plate, room, large room or hall)
2 delay (short and long delay)
    1 mod/special fx

    +
    2 mix buss (1 compressed, 1 dry)

I use quite a few buses all with either the Waves SSL G Comp, Cytomic 'The Glue' or one of the Abbey Road Plugins Compressor/Limiters on them.

I and many others, stick the bass in with the drums to 'glue' it all together, an oft used phrase.

The whole heap (at the moment) goes to a Audient Sumo which has it's own Bus compressor on it, I also have a modified SSL Clone as an optional bus comp.
