    Hello all

I've just heard that certificates can now be ordered online from www.certificates.ie and I was wondering if any of you have any experience ordering from them?

I need to order quite a few family certs but I've been putting it off because I'm always a bit wary faxing my credit card details to the GRO :o

I think you need fairly exact details (e.g. parents names, exact dates, locations etc) to order certs using that website. As far as I know there's no facility for entering the index references used by the GRO Roscommon to order historic certs.

I wouldn't worry too much about people hacking into fax transmissions :)

Been using them for about 3 years now without any problems.

Thanks for your replies ...I think I'll chance it for one family memeber and see how I get on.
