Can anyone give me an overview of the different Huawei modems, ie which is the latest and which is the best, I know it will be a bit more complicated than that but what should I watch out for generally speaking.

Currently using the E180 which is 7.5Mb

    What about E220/E1752 etc etc

It makes little difference which modem you use.

The E220 was the original modem used here, looks a little like a bar of soap. Requires two USB ports for power in many cases - comes with a cable to accommodate this. Standard speed was 3.6 Mbps but can be upgraded to 7.2 with a firmware upgrade. Once this is done it's no better than the E180.
