What a great evening to be alive!!!

hi all

I was working around the house all day doing a few odd jobs so as the evening was dry and still I said I would head out for a walk on one of my permissions.
I walked around two of the grain fields, didnt see anything as the grain is too high now - more to show cause to the farmer. Then hopped over the ditch to a grand grassy field. Loads of bunnies about so I was plinking away for about 1.5 hrs. This place bounds cork harbour so there are plenty of birds coming into the fields foraging as well. (Before anyone jumps in I was only looking at the birds:rolleyes:)

What a nice way to spend a summers evening!

nice calm eve hear kerry to , was on mt leinster on the bike this eve ,it was a picture .red skys over the forest ,Midge out in force annoying the dogs

Was down in wicklow all day doing some work on my stalking ground, high seats, strimming, hedging etc.

Spent bout 2 hrs this evening lying on nice heather bank with the faithful mutt watching the deer in the national park that joins my ground !! Counted over 70 at one stage out there

Pair of peregrine falcons wheeling about all day too, great to be surrounded by such nature !!
