Sky Sports or ESPN?

    I'm upgrading my Sky package for sports as the Premier League is just around the corner. I'm a Manchester United fan so I'd like the majority of their games at my disposal. Also the big matches e.g Chelsea versus Liverpool, Arsenal etc.

    Anyway what package should I go with? Sky Sports or ESPN?

    Cheers for any feedback.

    As you want the big matches then it will have to be Sky Sports. They are showing a lot more than ESPN also.

    If you're with UPC and have the max pack, you get ESPN and ESPN America thrown in.

    But as you're with Sky, definitely go with Sky. Sky get first dibs on games and if it's anything like previous seasons, most games between top4 teams will be on Sky. You'll never see Chelsea v Man Utd or Man Utd v Liverpool on ESPN. They're always on Sky.

    Thanks for the feedback guys. Do any of you know how much it is to upgrade to skysports and how much extra espn would be?

    Sky Sports is something like €30 a month, I think ESPN is €10. Sky.com has all the answers you seek...

    Also the big games are on Sky and for the foreseeable future will be. Its handy to have both if you want to be sure. ESPN arent as biased towards United and Liverpool as Setanta in terms of the games they show, but its still worth having.

    Sky Sports is €32 and ESPN is an additional €12. Both to go up on 1st Sept.

    I don't think it's an issue of Sky being less biased towards United and Liverpool, it's just that their contract states they have to show a certain number of games from each team. I'm sure if they had the choice they'd show the big 4 every week.
