    Hi All,
Has anybody got lessons from Peter O'Hagan down in Luttrellstown or when he used to be in K Club. Thinking of arranging a lesson of him.

I went to him once and didn't go back as i wasn't happy with how he wanted me to swing the club. I didn't agree with what he was saying. I have now had 3 lessons with somebody else and love what is happening with my swing. Im hitting it further than i ever did and hitting it sweet. Yes there are still the odd duff shot but that is what practice is all about. After 30 minutes with new teacher i learnt more about my swing than an hour with peter. Used muscles i never used before and felt it the next day.

Handicap wise i can't say. i used to be a weekend member but now work weekends. so golf is leisure at the moment. What he changed on first visit was he got me to keep my arms close to my body as i was over swinging the club. I was also more swaying my body instead of turning the hips. By turning the hips properly im generating power in the swing and coming down on the ball. By keeping arms close to the body im not slicing or pulling the ball and getting more of a straight ball flight. His name is Michael Dixon and is based in kclub . Yes he is little dearer than others but i feel i get every pennies worth out of my time with him. I have had lessons from others but he is the only person that i have gone back to. If i hit a bad shot i now understand what cause
d it and what i done wrong.
