I'm looking for a second hand engine for an astra (yep have a guess what happened) as it will probably work out cheaper than repairing it. I reckon there in the region of €300, but before i start ringing around to breakers can anybody recommended a good website(s) that i can use for comparison.

Head gasket blew. Problem is thought engine had seized was able to manually crank it and the belief is one of the valves has dropped. So thats the Head gasket to be planed, valve fixed and a Tb and water pump change because of this. The mechanic is a good friend of mine and is going to price the valve and have a proper look at it tomorrow or monday when his free but he thinks it might work out cheaper to put a replacement engine into it if i can find one with low enough milage and a recent TB change.
