Mobile Phone Plans in Germany?

I didn't realize how spoiled I was with my free texts to any network + 600 free webtexts that I had back in Ireland on vodafone. So now I'm here in Germany for what appears will be a decent amount of time, and I need a phone. Does anyone know of a network that at least does webtexts, if not free texts for whatever top-up…

I've checked through blau, solomo, base, vodafone.de but haven't really seen anything yet. Blau appears to be the cheapest, so if I can't turn up anything with texts I guess I'll go with them..

Suggestions would be nice!
