Yes you will receive FreeSAT on the box. Just pull out your card and you'll see what your left with. It may be an advantage to set your epg as an English one as it has more Freesat channels on it.

After you remove card unplug box and plug back in-LEAVE CARD OUT. You can set the free channels as favourites so you just have to use the blue button to go through them, handier than trying to remember channel numbers.
Channel FIVE can be added in 'other channels' -10.773 H 22.0 5/6

The telephone cable has nothing to do with your signal. You'd better check the co-ax cable going into your box as this carrys the signal. You can disconnect today but it won't happen for a month as per skys new rules.

Thanks for your help there, I do this regularly but had not considered adding to favourites, it's a pity you can't add "other Channels to favourites.

I would welcome your help with the following:

I have just fitted a new LNB with 4 outlets (2 outlets not available any longer) and need to send feed to two locations (I have two sky boxes) and I would like to add Terrestial also as effeciently as possible. How should I best go about it.

    Many thanks

Have you aerials for terrestrial already? If so how are they connected up currently.

If you are installing from scratch, then there are several ways to distribute around your installation.

Two aerials currently in attic fed direct to 2 TV's via booster.

ALSO Its raining now and I have lost sat signal completely following re- installation of Dish signal indicator Strength 50% and Quality 50% prior to rain and when raining 40% and 10% respectively.

    Thanks for your help

with a 10% (wet!) quality reading it sounds like your dish needs aligning correctly and also maybe the skew setting of the LNB requires optimising. It is also very important to ensure the pole is 'True'.
i install here in the S of France and usually get a 90% (dry!) Quality Reading by careful final tweaking when setting up the dishes.... it is really important to tighten the bolts whilst still using the meter as it is easy to lose a big chunk of 'Quality / Strength' if they are not tightened up taking this into account!!!!
    The Skyman.

Merci mongolfiere ! Thanks for that I got a full line of lights on the led sat finder, by skew is that the "twist" of the lnb to the right or left, by pole do you mean mast or something else, I shall go through the proceedure again with regard to bolt tightening etc. is their any indication whether adjustment could be right - left or up - down. F.
