Motor Tax?

    Hi all,
    can some one tell me what the Tax is for 1 year on a private petrol car at 1242cc.

    I have googled motor tax about 5 times and all pages including Irish gov pages are showing the rate to be €298. (last years) From those enquiries it looks like it hasn't changed. However.....
    I have a demand for €310:confused:

    According to that website, €310 is the correct price. Ive got a car with the same engine size as you and that is what i had to pay this year. Not sure what i paid last year though.

    Thank you Yellow bear. I just realized my mistake.
    I saved rates in PDF on computer issued from last years budget. It had two collums last years rates and the new rates (2010). I was reading the old rates. Sorted.
