Sky+ Box

    If i own a Sky+ box will it work without having to subscribe to Sky+?? ie can I just plug it in and use my current Sky card??

    Youll probably get a better answer over in the satellite forum but answer is yes and no the box will poick up the channels fine but you will need a second feed from your dish to record anything. IIRC sky need to enable it at their end for recording. Also good chance any pin enabled functions wont work due to unpaired card.

    Hi morrow. Did the same thing myself. Sky dont charge for the sky+ anymore. You just need to ring them and they will change your subscription. They will need the serial number of the sky+ box to enable. As noted above you will need a 2nd feed into the box for the + function to work. Its well worth it once you get it up and running.
