    Hi im just wondering about the forum reques rules, is it against the rules to inlude a advert for a potential new forum in my signature and if so what form should it take link ect?

    If this is for a forum that's in, or going to be in the Forum Requests forum, then by all means add a signature. Many people do this, often including a picture or "Support the XXX Forum" and a link to the thread. It gets the request a bit more exposure, although it doesn't guarantee it will be approved.
