I have an iPhone on AT+T in the US and a US-based iTunes account. It synchs to iTunes on my MacBookPro.

Can I add an iPhone with an Irish carrier to the same iTunes installation?

In othewords synch two iphones on different carriers to the same device?

Will it work? Or might it mess up carrier settings, etc?

Not too sure about carrier settings (they might be based on the sim) but certainly the content from a single iTunes account can be cynced across multiple devices. What u cannot do is use the same device with two different iTunes accounts

You can operate or switch between two iTunes stores on the one phone. Logging in within iTunes account on the phone lets you do that.
