iphone connectivity query

    Hi all, running a 3gs with ios4 (going to update this evening to the 4.1). My query comes from an app called "carcassonne" which is a version of a turn-based board game. Over wifi it works fine but in 3g I don't receive any data in relation to the opponents' move. IS this likely to be anything I can change settings wise, or is it an app-related problem, do you think?

    Edit: have raised with app developer, so hope to get resolution there.

    Are you on vodafone using the live APN? It could be down to that as software i use called Logmein works on wifi but not on 3G over vodafone Live but it will work over different APN's.

    I am on VF, so that might be it...can a VF customer set a different APN? Probably not.

    Your data plan probely just covers the Live Apn

    Probably does, but I can't check - my firmware/software settings screen doesn't have the option to check, oddly enough. Must look into that...

    In case anyone was wondering, just to let you know that whilst I haven't been playing Carcassonne and so amn't sure, some time between my last post here and today it's back working. In that time there's been an update to the app and I'd reinstalled it aswell so one of those must have worked. I spose general advice is if an app ain't working, uninstall/reinstall!
