The cyma m14 socom is a nice rifle for the money 170 euro i think. Their on my to get list in the future.
They feel solid and their's a nice rate of fire off them.
A friend of mine has one and its very decent build quality for the money and metal gearbox. You can spend the rest on a scope of your choice and mags and maybe a sling....
    Heres a link to one:

    Hope this helps.:)

If you wanted to up your limit, there's a new WE M14 - Gas blow back, so will have a lot more realism to it. Eirsoft are selling 'em now if I remember correctly. I think, and don't quote me on this, that it was about €350

You'd want to have a much bigger budget though considering the cost of magazines and for Ireland you'd really want CO2 which means spending a bit extra to put an NPAS in.

Aye, but I reckon it'd be worth the cost. I know if GBB M4's were out when I had bought mine, I'd have saved and waited.

If you would like an m14 with rails and collapsing stock get the kart m14 ebr.250euro.or save up for a ca m14 ebr

The KART isn't an option for me as i find wayyy too heavy for regular skirmishing but the CA and the TM ones are the ones ive been looking at.

The G&G SOC 16 (M14 Socom) is a good bit of kit :) picked one up myself a few weeks ago and was happily surprised!

Get yourself a CA M14 Scout.
A beautiful piece. Excellent quality, very accurate, definitely a contender.
I've had mine 2 years & it's never given me any trouble. :)
