Sandyford using the Luas

    Hi everyone :)

    Can you please tell me whats the luas like in the mornings?? from either Ranelagh or Dundrum?? is it hard to get on it!! as im starting a new job in Sandyford :) or cud you tell me the best location to take the luas to Sandyford as im looking to rent a place.

    it's generally ok going out toward sandyford from either as most people are going the other way. It can be a little busy from 8.30-8.45 or so as people heading to the industrial estate for 9 are all on around then.

    Either are fine for the luas, ranelagh is a great place to live for the village/food/drink etc. Dundrum is a bit more suburban.

    thanks for the quick reply :) actually i know Ranelagh well but was unsure if the lucas wud be jammers in the morning and wudn't be able to get on!! i guess wants your heading out towards the city i sud be fine :)

    The luas will be busy alright. You mightn't get a seat, but the standing room will be fine. It's only 15 mins anyway from Ranelagh area to sandyford..
