    Hey guys, just looking for a bit of help. Use to play Arma 2 up until Ace was released for it...I found installing and updating Ace a complete and utter nightmare, put me off and stopped playing.

    What's the story now with Operation Arrowhead and any DLC? Is OA basically an official Ace? Or is Ace still around and required to play on alot of servers? Any easier to install?

    Basically, what do I need to get up and running playing on servers again?

    Just need OA and Arma 2, ace is optional.

    beta patches are a bonus as it fixes some issues with ammoboxes.

    Our server is running Combined Ops (both A2 and OA combined) with no mods for the moment

    Hi folks, thought I'd throw this request in here rather than start a new thread...

    Played OF many years ago, recently reinstalled it and played through the campaign... loved it all over again so just bought Arma2 & OA Combined. Playing the Arma2 campaign but itching to try out mp. I've read and digested all the guides here, but bit intimidated by the complexity of it all.... after all I've had a decade of CS, DoD, COD and BF.

    So was hoping that somebody here might let me tag along on a fireteam with them so show me the ropes and not get too pissed off if initially screw something up.

    I a few pointers on server etiquette, setting up mods etc would be very much appreciated as well.
